About Strange Loop

Strange Loop is a space for explorations at the intersection of AI, culture, identity, and meaning — in an age of accelerating systems and collapsing certainties.

This is not a tech blog. It’s not academic theory. And it’s definitely not breathless futurism.

Instead, Strange Loop is a dispatch for the intellectually restless — a place for people asking better questions as the world gets noisier, faster, and more synthetic. It’s where I work out the ideas that don’t fit neatly into a client deck, a keynote talk, or a dinner conversation.

Expect writing on:

  • How machine logic reshapes selfhood and desire

  • What cultural collapse looks like from inside the algorithm

  • Identity as infrastructure — and performance

  • AI as mirror, myth, oracle, and ghost

  • The aesthetics of resistance in a quantified world

Sometimes it’s an essay. Sometimes it’s a fragment. Sometimes it’s marginalia — notes scribbled at the edges of books, systems, and cultural debris.

Who I Am

I’m Adam Cunningham — a strategist, writer, and executive working at the intersection of AI, culture, and human systems. I live in London, work globally, and split my time between building things for clients and unbuilding assumptions for myself.

You may know me from:

  • Leading strategy and product across entertainment, arts/culture and lifestyle brands

  • Developing AI-powered tools for creative industries

  • Speaking on stages from LA and NYC to London and Singapore

  • Or from Substacks I probably haven’t written yet

This publication isn’t about having answers — it’s about thinking in public, resisting certainty, and finding meaning in recursion.

Membership

You can read select pieces for free. But paid subscribers get:

  • Full access to all explorations, essays, and experimental formats (audio, video, models, experiments)

  • Marginalia — intimate, fragmentary notes on culture, systems, and selfhood

  • Occasional member-only threads or salons

  • A front-row seat to future work, collaborations, and weirdness

Founding members go one level deeper — supporting the intellectual and creative expansion of Strange Loop and gaining access to more direct conversations.

Why Subscribe?

Because you feel it too: the world is changing faster than our frameworks. And meaning — not mind — may be our last true edge.

If that resonates, you’re in the right loop.
